Recently one of our staff shared her experience with the new eyelash lengthening treatment, Latisse. She writes:
“Latisse is FABULOUS!!! In about 2 months, of not even regular every day use, I have perfect strangers asking me who does my eyelash extensions. I am having trouble wearing my glasses, but I love it !!!! I have even had to trim my eyelashes because they are getting so long. Our patients who are using it are also having great results, even patients who have lost eye lashes are finding they grow back more quickly. Remember, it can irritate your eyes (so if it does, stop using it for a few days) some people experience some pigment changes in the skin (where your eyeliner goes anyway) or changes in eye color (blue or green turning brown—just don’t put it in your eye!!) People with a personal history of glaucoma or are allergic to bimatoprost are not candidates for this medication.”
