Thomas B. Lintner M.D.
Contact Dr. Thomas Lintner to discuss your plastic and reconstructive surgery needs.
After performing plastic and reconstructive surgery in Marietta for over 15 years, cosmetic surgeon Thomas Lintner, MD, FACS, formed Advanced Aesthetic Surgery. By forming a single-physician practice, Dr. Lintner was able to become more patient-focused.
From his Marietta and Woodstock locations, Dr. Lintner provides Atlanta area plastic surgery patients with a high level of personalized care. Whether you are interested in liposuction, a breast lift, breast augmentation with silicone implants, facial plastic surgery, BOTOX® injections, or other cosmetic or reconstructive surgery procedure, Dr. Lintner and his caring and knowledgeable staff are willing to listen to your desires and help you make informed decisions about surgery.
Because he puts his patients' needs first, Dr. Lintner is often recognized in the community for his professional excellence and patient care.
Meet the personal side of Dr. Tom Lintner:
"Most think of him as a pretty well-rounded person; he considers himself a "man of many hats," some of which are: teacher, family man, scientist, history buff, sailor, arborist and let’s not forget his "day job" as a plastic surgeon."
The elegant 2008 Heart Cobb Ball celebrated life at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta. A three-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Tom Burchell, refreshing libations and live and silent auctions as well as live music and dancing kept the generous guests in high spirits throughout the night.
When Thomas Lintner met his wife, Elizabeth, it was like a scene from a television show. The two met at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, each providing care to a burn patient. Thomas is a plastic surgeon, and Elizabeth has worked in various aspects of the medical field, but now works as a surgical technologist. The couple married four years ago, and worked together to open Thomas’s own practice, Advanced Aesthetic Surgery, two years ago.
The trends in cosmetic surgery are on a track of perpetual advancement. New technologies and new studies catalyze procedures with better results and fewer downfalls, and people always are eager to try any new wonder method. It is no surprise that celebrities influence the way the rest of us want to look but interestingly, these days patients bring in as many "botch-job" photos for examples of how they don't want to look as they do photos of how they'd like to look post-procedure.
Dr. Thomas B. Lintner, the cosmetic surgeon that many on Atlanta’s north side choose for their new looks, has a new look of his own. Lintner’s new, much-awaited Marietta office, which has been under construction much of last year, opened in late November across from WellStar Kennestone Hospital on Canton Road.
When Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Thomas B. Lintner opened his first practice in 1990, he had a specific vision in mind for patient care. As his practice evolved into t6he largest plastics practice in Marietta, the limitations of being involved with a large group of physicians made it difficult to take care of his patients with the personalized care he had always intended. Therefore, in 2006 he opened Advance Aesthetic Surgery with his original concept of patient care.
When looking for a plastic surgeon, what are you really looking for? Expertise, experience and board certification in plastic surgery, of course... but what else? What about accessibility, compassion and a genuine concern for patients.
Earlier this year, Dr. Thomas Lintner was featured in the cover story of Cobb Living. This insightful article highlighted Dr. Lintner's intense focus on patient care, his plastic surgery background, and his dedication to his family.
Not only does Dr. Thomas Lintner perform most of his cosmetic surgeries in the operating room at WellStar Kennestone Hospital , but he also held the position of chief of plastic surgery there. WellStar Kennestone Hospital is a five-time honoree as one of the top 100 benchmark hospitals in the United States. Dr. Lintner is proud to be affiliated with such an outstanding facility.
